Here's the new place w/ stuff in it so you can get an idea of the enormity... The mineral wool you see is one trailer-full, we picked up another one today, probably another next week, 1200SF is going to take a lot!... The current layout of the room is not acoustically great, it's just to have stuff out of the way so it doesn't get itchy or covered in sawdust, etc. I'll post more photos of the construction progress as it happens. In Colorado w/ my bro David taking a little break before the the big move and the new studio acoustic treatment fun. I'll post a pic of our interesting Thanksgiving dinner soon... Got to hike along the continental divide a little. There's no snow yet here, supposed to start tonight maybe though. It should be exciting to see the first layer.

This should be the new studio space by December. 1170SF (square feet), that's 32x37 w/ a 11.5' ceiling. Tell your friends. And if you know anyone near DFW who's good at (or willing to learn) sheetrocking or building wooden frames (for fiberglass absorbers), let me know.

moving date

THE MOVE:
set for January 1, Lord willing. It's been quite some months. Should have a lease in hand in the next day or so. Praise Jesus. I'm ready to move along and my baby studio's ready for a real home to stretch its little legs in.

BLAH:
sitting at my bro's house in K-town now, helping him move. will probably take a few days easy to rest from last weeks album crunch. I feel like freestyling now but am a bit tired/lazy so this could be lame. note: there is a candle in the room, etc. these will be based on stuff lying around during the move.

okay, I cheated on the words france, modern greek and streak w/ a rhyme dictionary. oh well. hmm. the first stanza as usual is about worthless or very hard to interpret as related to the rest... okay, moving right along.
